3 Easy Steps for the "Ulitmate Wedding Skin" |
| Exfoliate |
| Use
an exfoliating cleanser twice daily to remove the buildup of dead
cells with a combination of chemical and physical exfoliants. Wash
with a glycolic or salyclic acid cleanser such as Md Formulations
Facial Cleanser or Anti-Bac Skin Wash by Dermalogica. Do this every
morning unless you have senstive skin(then every other day). Once
a week try a manual exfoliator such as Dermanew home microdermabrasion
system. |
| Moisturize |
| Every
morning apply a cream or gel with hyaluronic acid and antioxidants
such as Intensive Moisture Balance by Dermalogica or Skinceuticals
Hydrating B5 Gel , to neutralize wrinkle-causing free radicals
produced by the sun and air pollution. At night, smooth on a layer
of an hydroxy acid or retinol cream such as Afirm or Retinol 0.5
and 1.0 by Skinceuticals. |
| Brighten |
To
even out mottled or sun-damaged skin, smooth an over-the-counter
product with hydroquinone, such as Phyto+ - Primacy by Skinceuticals
or Kojic Complex Gel , on the face at night a few minutes after
washing. Allow it to soak in for ten minutes before applying
moisturizer. Within 3 months skin will be more even-toned. |

Glycolics
- Power Exfoliation - Time
to put together and start a corrective skincare
regimen to be used up until your wedding day. For example you
may want to start on a glycolic acid cleanser and moisturizer
to begin to slowly exfoliate those dead skin cells before the
wedding day so that your skin is youthful and glowing.
